Our Team

Dr Meg Redenbach

Owner / Veterinarian (BVSc)

Meg is a proud East Gippsland local, having grown up in Bairnsdale before heading to Wagga Wagga to study Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University.

After graduating, Meg returned home to Gippsland, where she worked with dairy cattle, companion animals and horses. Her time in a dedicated equine hospital sparked a particular passion for equine medicine and dentistry, which remains one of her favourite areas of practice today. She loves helping horses stay healthy, comfortable and performing at their best through preventative healthcare and dentistry.

In 2019, Meg and her husband, Mark, purchased Bairnsdale Animal Hospital and transformed it into what is now Eastwood Vets. Together, they've built a family-owned veterinary clinic focused on great patient care, genuine client relationships and a supportive team culture.

Outside of work, Meg's world revolves around her family. Together, Meg and Mark are raising their three young children: Darci, Bobby and Tommy. Life is busy, noisy and often a little chaotic, but she wouldn't have it any other way. When she's not at the clinic, you'll usually find her spending time with her family, supporting the kids' activities, catching up with friends, or making the most of everything East Gippsland has to offer.

Photo of: Marley Eastwood

Marley Eastwood

Clinic Cat

Marley came to live with us at Eastwood Vets in 2022 as she has Pica disease โ€” a condition where cats chew and swallow non-food items like fabric, plastic, paper, or electrical cords, which can lead to life-threatening blockages. Many attempts were made to manage this in Marley's previous home. Since living at the clinic, Marley's eating habits have changed for the better.
She lives around the clinic (usually on her heat mat), and on weekends gets to spend time at staff members' houses. If Marley is not on her heat pad she can be found in the sun, on the front counter waiting for pats, or teasing our doggie patients โ€” usually the cat chasers.
